The Guild of International Professional Toastmasters was founded by Ivor Spencer MBE in the 1990’s after a long career as a Toastmaster, working at many of the top London Hotels.He also founder the School for Toastmasters and the School for Butlers. During his career Ivor performed at over 2000 events at which Royalty was present.
Following Ivor’s death in 2006, our then Chairman Bob Parker and Secretary Phil Gardner took over the role of Training Academy Tutors, putting together a Manual covering over 120 pages consisting of information and working pages covering every conceivable event at which a Toastmaster may be asked to officiate.
With over 46 years of experience between out Tutors, who were both trained by Ivor Spencer, our students can be guaranteed an excellent grounding in the work of a Toastmaster.
