Not just a Red Jacket.

Earlier this year one of the Guild Toastmasters attended Clarence House, London. He was privileged in his role as the Livery Beadle to The Worshipful Company of Fanmakers to present Her Majesty the Queen to the Company Master, and to clothe her as an Honorary Liveryman of The Company.

Our Toastmaster has become City of London Livery Beadle to no less than three Livery Companies as a direct result of the training given to Toastmasters by The Guild of International Professional Toastmasters. The Beadle work is a direct extension of that of a Toastmaster, but requires the Beadle to look after the officers and members of The Livery Company, and conduct their events and dinners in strict accordance with the traditions and protocols of the City of London which have been developed over many centuries.

Some of the Guild members go on to become Beadles in Livery Companies in the City of London which is a high honour indeed
