Yes — caricatures.
Why? Because long gone are the days when Toastmasters were seen as stiff, stern figures who only appeared to announce dinner and glare at anyone standing in the wrong place.
Today’s Toastmasters — particularly as Fellows of the Guild of International Toastmasters — combine professionalism with personality. We take our responsibilities seriously… but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
The caricatures are simply a bit of fun. A splash of colour. A reminder that while we wear the red tailcoat with pride, behind it is a real person who understands people, humour, atmosphere and celebration.
